The 1948 0ldsmobile "Futuramic" 98 series is one of the most desirable Big Post WW II 1940's automobiles !! The 98 series featured all-new styling and engineering. These new cars weren't introduced till Feb 1948 which was about mid year. Even though the "Futuramic" styling concept would be carried over across the board to all of the 1949 Oldsmobiles, the 1948 98 Oldsmobile was a more beautiful automobile!! And when you put park the 1948 98 convertible beside the 1949 98 convertible you will see that the 1948 convertibles body lines are definitely wins hands down!! The trunk of 1948 98 convertible with the original "Futuramic" design had better body lines. The 1948 dash had a beautiful design.

     This Gorgeous White 1948 0ldsmobile 98 "Futuramic" convertible is a nice example!! . Straight 8, Hydra-Matic-Drive Transmission. It has nice light tan leather / cloth interior, Brown Canvas Top. Hydraulic windows, seat and top. 4 New BF 2 1/2 " WWW Goodrich Silvertown steel belted radials, P226 75R 15. In the trunk photo the new steel belted radial spare tire hadn't been mounted and put in the trunk yet. Excellent chrome. It runs out and drives great! It stops good. A VERY RARE FIND!! How often do you see a 1948 98 convertible for sale?
