     1951 was the last year of the SUCCESSFUL 3 year run of the Shoe Box Ford! The 1951 facelift was more extensive than in 1950 on the same body. A new grille with twin "spinners in the grille instead of the one that was in the 1950. The headlamps were slightly "Frenched" Chrome trim strips atop rear character line merged into the twin-point taillamps. The side trim on the Custom models wrapped around the rear.
