To understand how RARE the 1955 Chevrolet 2 Dr. One Fifty Series 3 Passenger Sedan is, the One Fifty Series 3 Passenger Sedan production numbers of (11,196) need to be compared to the One Fifty Series 6 Passenger Sedan (66,185) , the Two Ten Series 6 Passenger Sedan (249,105) and the Bel Air Series 6 Passenger Sedan (168,313). The 150 Series 3 passenger had no back seat or rear roll down windows. These were sold to companies for salesman to use. In place of the rear seat, it had a wood platform with a rubber mat on it for a salesman to store his goods.

Not only was it RARE when it was new compared to the 6 Passenger 150's , 210's and Bel Aires, 51 years later it is difficult to find one in any condition. This was a very solid car with original floor boards before it was restored. A one year Frame Off Rotisserie Restoration has just being completed. It was taken completely apart and down to the bear metal. The original rear wood platform was still in good condition and now covered with red carpet. Every nut, bolt and washer in the car is new.
