The 1955 Ford was the second BEST YEAR since the 1923 model T. So in 1956, Ford made several changes to the SAME already POPULAR body style. Such as oval parking lights and bigger grille. The beautiful FLOWING LINES of the "top of the fender" to the "tear drop side stainless trim" was WIDER down the sides of the quarter panels. Larger tail lights with chrome rings. The V-8 equipped Fairlane Series had rear bumpers with slots in each end, for passage of the dual exhaust. 1956 was the last year for this GORGEOUS 2 year HOMERUN body style. not easy to come by!! This 1956 Black Victoria 2 Dr.Hardtop is a nice EXAMPLE!! 312 V-8, 4 barrel, Ford-O-Matic trans. Beautiful RED and WHITE interior. It shows 35,968 miles and is believed to be the real miles, because it was put in storage in 1978. When it was taken it was out of storage, it was repainted. The motor and transmision were rebuilt. The brakes were redone. New shocks, new dual exhaust that flow through the rear bumper tips. What really SETS this ALREADY GORGEOUS VICTORIA off, are the 2 11/16" WWW tires. These New Firestone Gum Dipped WWW's are like the ones that came on it new. You would have to look hard to find a 1956 Ford that was as solid as this one is. (Interior, Engine Compartment and Trunk photos will be added later) It runs out GREAT and SHIFTS SMOOTH!! ANOTHER "COOL" 50's HIGHWAY CRUISER!!
