The 1956 Ford Fairlane had beautiful FLOWING LINES on the "top of the fender" to the "tear drop side stainless trim", that got WIDER down the sides of the quarter panels. It had oval parking lights and a bigger grille than the 1955. 1956 also had larger tail lights with chrome rings. The V-8 equipped Fairlane Series had rear bumpers with slots in each end, for passage of the dual exhaust. 1956 was the last year for this GORGEOUS 2 year HOMERUN body style!! And the "Sunliner" Convertible was one of Ford's MOST desirable Ford body styles to own in the 50's!! And they are MUCH MORE desirable own and enjoy five decades later!! The 1956 "Sunliner" WAS and STILL IS one of the MOST DESIRABLE 1950's Ford Convertibles to own!!
This 1956 Ford "SUNLINER" is a REAL HEAD TURNER!! The GORGEOUS Fiesta Red and Peacock White with a White Top is a "KILLER COLOR COMBINATION!! Especially the way the stainless trim breaks up the two colors, from the top of the front fender down to the tear drop and down the middle of the quarter panel to the tail light. And the Red / White interior HIGHLIGHTS total package! Strong V/8, Ford-O-Matic. P/Brakes. Refinished Chrome / Trim. Nice Stainless. Rebuilt original radio. Continental Kit, Fender Shirts, Rear Antenna. The Dual Exhaust sounds GREAT!. This a TRUE 50's CRUISER!! It is a Nice Driver for CRUISER NIGHTS!! This 1956 "SUNLINER" is ALOT of BANG for the BUCK!!
