This BMW is a "little" Bimmer. They were also know as "the rolling egg". This 1957 Isetta is in terrific condition! It is difficult to find one with a SOLID body like this one. It is vibrant RED and white, complete with interior and racks and safety net behind the seat that is alike a "small" open trunk, a sun visor. original BMW hub caps, original BMW gas cap, and a sun visor. This one has the rare to see two small front "small grilles" that look like a BMW's grilles in some of the later production cars. Rather than these cooling the engine area, they are "air vents" for fresh air to the 2 passengers. And it has a handle to turn to operate as a defrost for the windshield. It has a windshield wiper. small instrument panel with oil light, signal light, blue light for the bright lights. And it has a GREAT SOUNDING horn!

FACTS, HISTORY and how WE FEEL about FEEL ABOUT THE BMW "Isetta"
     BMW built the Isetta from 1955 to 1962. as the motorcycle market declined, they needed another source of income. And the Isetta was also a answer the the "fuel crisis" of the 50's. So at the 1955 Frankfurt Auto Show BMW dispalyed their first "Strange egg miniature car, called the "Isetta"!! And it "WENT OVER GREAT"!!! We are "HAVING A BLAST" with this "COOL LOOKING" little 4 wheel car. Most people think it has 3 wheels but it has the 2 back wheels close together. I can't believe I have gone all these years and NEVER ownes one of these "cool little cars"!! It runs out and drives great!! The 4 speed shifter is one the left side. And yes it has a reverse. It is so much fun to slide the 2 side window back and slide the sun roof back and "CRUISE" down the road 45 or 50 M.P.H.!! I know it is hard to believe but is MORE FUN than cruising down the road in my Shelby GT 500 KR Convertible!! Yes I know it doesn't have the torque or horse power coming out of this "little" rear BMW engine that pushing this "little rolling egg" down the road as the GT 500 KR's 428 Cobra Jet does. Yes the Shelby is like a JET when you "GET ON IT" but the Isette give you a different kind "RUSH" driving it. I can't explain it word, but is "SO MUCH FUN and COOL to DRIVE"!! And when you pull up to a parking space a get out, this little Isette will turn 10 time as many head as the GT 500 KR, when you open the front door and out the front of the car. And especially when a 6"8" person get out and still had leg room. You will see in the photo Scott a friend of our in the car and the him standing by it. And then there is a photo of him and his father picking the front end up of this 700 + lb Isett!! NO the Isetta won't reach 0 to 50 M.P.H. as QUICK as my GT 500 KR will but the GT 500 KR won't get 63 MILES per GALLON either!! Yes the GT 500 KR will get 30 JET SPEED to 45 SPEED LIMIT miles out of 3 gallons crusing down the road, where the Isetta will Crusie ABOUT 190 FUN MILES down the at the Minimum Speed Limit!! As you can see, the Isetta is the BIG BANG for the BUCK and PER H.P>!!! And "IT'S ALOT of FUN!! Now back to this 1957 BMW Isetta 300. It really is surprising how it handles and drives out. We CRUISE in my hometown right along with the traffic , turning heads as we go down the road and everywhere we show up!! It starts up easy and runs great! The light and turn signals work correct.
