This GORGEOUS 1967 Wimbleton White Convertible GTA has been our personal driver for several years. The DSO showed that it a Wimbleton White GTA with Red Deluxe Interior and sold new in Atlanta Georgia. My wife and I both really like this color Combination! It took us a long time to get it from a banker in Atlanta who had owned it and kept it well maintained for about 20 years. He drove it in the summers when the weather was nice. Since it was such a good driver and ran out so well and had great working power disc brakes, we decided to keep it and drive it in the summer when the weather was nice. Instead of taking it out of storage from winter to driving another season, we decided to remove the fenders, doors, hood and trunk lid off the car have everything painted separately. It really turned out nice. Since the stainless was off the car , it was polished. We put new bumpers , door handles , new left remote mirror , new trim , and a new GT Gas Lid on the after reassembling it. It has new Red Deluxe interior and a new Deluxe Dash Bezel with new plastic lens and new Brushed Stainless across the dash and on the door panels. A new Boot to cover the nice black top that has the glass rear window. We replaced all of the rubber new. New trunk upholstery. We had replaced the older Styled Steel Wheels with new ones and new BF Goodrich Radial T/A's last summer. This GTA has the RARE Silver Rear Tail Light Panel Trim. The car was born a Factory "S" Code Big Block 390 V/8 car but somewhere down through the years it got replaced with a very strong 302 V/8 4 barrel. It was because it ran out so strong and drove great and got such great gas mileage that we had decided to keep it and drive it. It has the heavy suspension with the sway bar and I am sure that it drives out better and handles better now than it did when it was new with the much heavier motor that burned much more gas!! It also has wonderful handling Power Steering. It has been my wife's favorite car to take and drive of all of our classic cars because of handles and brakes so well and has been so dependable!!! Well now it time for someone else to enjoy CRUISING in this GORGEOUS GTA Convertible this summer as we have!!!
